Is your four-legged friend ready for a major wash? Then come quickly to our ultramodern dog wash in The Hague. With a visit to our car wash, your dog will be super clean without splashing or getting your bathroom dirty.
The Dogwash has been specially developed for dogs of all sizes. From the largest Great Dane to a small Chihuahua, the dog wash is suitable for every dog. High-quality dog shampoos are used in the car wash. We recommend that you do not bathe your dog more than once every two weeks.
The dogwash is easy to operate yourself and instructions are given via the screen and audio instructions. Our dog wash is located between the bird and cat world, next to the toilets.
How does it work?
You can easily operate the dog wash yourself via the touchscreen. Choose between 8 different washing programs with options: shampoo, water, conditioner, anti-flea shampoo, dryer low, dryer high, clean shower tray. Through the screen and audio instructions are given by a star of your choice, such as: Freek Vonk, David Attenborough or Gandalf. Through the door in the dog wash, your dog can get in by itself. Attach him/her to the chain just to be sure, then the washing can begin.
The dog wash is open 7 days a week during the opening hours of Avonturia† Payment can be made through Avonturia coins (available at the information desk) or cash at the machine itself. Reservations are not necessary, you can just come by!
Woezel and Pip Dogwash
The dog wash has been available since 2011 in the largest pet store in the BeNeLux, Avonturia de Vogelkelder† On 11 May 2011, the old dog wash "Woezel en Pip" was festively opened in The Hague. Babette van Veen opened the dog wash together with DJ, Guusje Nederhorst's Briard of the dog that inspired the character Woezel. This was the first Woezel and Pip Dogwash in the world.
In 2019, the Woezel and Pip Dogwash was replaced by a more modern variant, the iClean DogWash Futura.
