On our gift worldd we have an extensive range of Edge Sculpture. Edge Sculpture are robust statues, designed and sculpted by Matt Buckley. He makes these images in his studio in Shropshire, England. The collection has different animal species, busts, fantasy figures and many more different art. The mix of shape, light and texture gives each individual piece a unique feel. About the designer
The designer of Edge Sculpture is Matt Buckley. Matt was born on August 20, 1981 and sculpture has always interested him. Matt started his career as a sculptor over 20 years ago. His stepfather was also in the trade (Robert Harrop). Matt wanted to create an affordable brand. Matt Buckley started in his shed and over the past 8 years the brand has only grown. He never expected the brand to run so well. Matt wants each piece to carry a unique feel. He tries to create this through a mix of texture, light and shape.
How is EDGE sculpture made?
Matt first makes the sculpture with clay and then casts a mold to produce multiple sculptures. The Edge Sculptures consist of a special marble mixture that is painted by hand for the most realistic possible result. The clay is heavy and requires a lot of strength. Matt wants you to see the work of the body in every image. The finishing touch is the application of hand painting. After this, the pieces are ready to be used as an eye-catcher!
