Create a pleasant ambient temperature
The well-being of your rodent or rabbit during hot days depends on a comfortable ambient temperature. It is essential to ensure that your pet's enclosure is not directly exposed to the intense rays of the sun. If it is not possible to move the enclosure to a cooler place, you can be creative and create enough shady areas. Placing a parasol, a shade cloth can help to provide shelter from the heat.
